Ghana’s midfield star player Thomas Partey played for Arsenal on Wednesday evening in their 2-0 win against Luton Town in the English Premier League.
This marked Partey’s first start since he recovered from a long injury break, which caused him to miss playing for the Black Stars in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
Partey looked sharp and fit, contributing well to Arsenal’s victory, earning them three crucial points to keep them in the race for the Premier League title.
Despite Luton Town’s efforts at Emirates Stadium, they couldn’t score, resulting in Arsenal taking all the points in Round 31.
Goals from Martin Odegaard and an own goal by Daiki Hashioko in the first half secured the win for Arsenal.
Now that he’s back in the starting lineup, Thomas Partey aims to support his team in the remaining league games of the season.
