Former Ghana coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor says the football association still owes him some money for the job he did for the Black Stars.
The former Ghana coach who was sacked before the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Cameroon in 2022 has confirmed this.
According to him, it is frustrating he wasn’t paid all his monies when he was working as the head coach of the senior national team.
“It’s frustrating. When I was actively working, I wasn’t even paid regularly,” Akonnor told Joy Sports.
“Sometimes, it is embarrassing to talk about it. People still ask “then why did you do it when you were not paid?”
“Those questions, I will answer them, but for now, silence is golden.”
