Ghana striker Prince Adu Kwabena says his ultmate dream reamains breaking into Europe’s elite leagues as his steady rise at Viktoria PlzeÅ continues to gather momentum.
Adu Kwabena completed a move to the Czech top-flight side in August 2024 from Ukrainian outfit Kryvbas FC on a three-year contract, a step he views as part of a carefully mapped career trajectory.
Since arriving, he has settled well, contributing eight goals in all competitions this season and steadily building his reputation as a reliable attacking option.
Kwabena has consistently maintained that his switch to Plzeň was designed with long-term ambition in mind, specifically targeting a move to Europe’s biggest leagues within a few years.
“Going to Viktoria Plzeň, my target was, in two to three years, be in the top five leagues,” Kwabena told JoySports.
“I am still working very hard because it is not easy to get there. I am still on it, working very hard.
“I know it will come true, I am praying for that and working hard for it.”
His progress has also been reflected at international level, where he has earned opportunities with the Black Stars, starting back-to-back friendlies against Austria and Germany in March as Ghana step up preparations for the FIFA World Cup.
