Ghana target Eddie Nketiah was on the score sheet for Arsenal FC in a pre-season friendly game against French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on Wednesday evening.
The 24-year-old attacker played 83 minutes of the match as the Gunners drew 1-1 against the Principality Club ahead of the 2023-24 campaign in England.
Youssouf Forfana grabbed the opening goal of the match to put Monaco 1-0 up a minute after the half hour mark of the encounter in an entertaining friendly game.
Just before halftime, Nketiah grabbed the equalizer for the Red and Whites outfit as they drew 1-1 and won on penalties after the game.
He’s expected to be given a starting berth in the absence of injured Brazilian international Gabriel Jesus as the season starts in 10 days time.
