Sarfo, 26 who was frustrated by his markers went into the book of the referee in the 28th minute.
Doxa Katokopias pushed for the leveller with some incessant pressure on the home team but couldn’t get any goal as Wilson’s early strike sealed a deserving 1-0 victory for Olympiakos Nicosia.
Kingsley Sarfo lasted the entire throttle of the match. The twice-capped Black Stars attacker has played full 90 minutes in his team’s all seven games for Olympiakos Nicosia this season.
