Ghana winger Samuel Owusu provided an assist for Al Fayha who recorded a 2-0 win over Al-Tai FC on his return from international duty at the ongoing 2021 Africa Cup of Nations – (AFCON) in Cameroon.
The speedster was at his was at his quality best as he provided the assist for a brilliant goal at the Al Majma’ah Sports City Stadium.
Malek Al Abdalmoneim shot the home side ahead in the 9th-minute mark of the game before Samuel Owusu set up Nigerien Amadou Moutari to grab the second goal in the 49th minute.
Samuel Owusu was handed a starting berth just a twenty-four arriving in the country after Ghana exited the Africa Cup of Nations to underline his immense importance to the team.
The Ghana international was replaced by Yousef Saad Al Harbi in the 70 minute.
Meanwhile, his compatriot John Boye lasted the entire duration of the game.
