Ghana’s forward Samuel Owusu grabbed an assist to help Al Fayha FC to a home win on his return from the shambolic Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon on Saturday with the Black Stars.
The 25-year-old featured for Al Fayha as they secured an impressive 2-0 victory over Al Taee in the Saudi Pro League week 18 round of games.
Malek Al Abdumonam opened the scoring for the home side as early as the 9th minute after being set up by Panagiotis Tachtsidis.
Nigerien international Amadou Moutari received a pinpoint pass from Owusu from the center to slot home calmly the winner.
The Ghanaian has provided three assists in 16 appearances for Al Fayha in the Saudi top-flight this campaign.
