AD Alcorcón, a Spanish LaLiga 2 team, has officially announced a one-year contract extension for young Ghanaian talent, Emmanuel Addai.

The new deal is set to run until June 30, 2024, with the option for an additional second year.

The Estadio Municipal de Santo Domingo-based club expressed their satisfaction with Addai’s performances in his debut season, leading them to offer him a contract extension ahead of the upcoming football season.

Announcing the deal, the club stated on their official website,’ “AD Alcorcón announces the renewal of Emmanuel Addai (08/01/2001); Kumasi; Ghana) for this new season and with the option of a second additional one.“

Emmanuel Addai joined AD Alcorcón during the summer transfer window in 2022 after his contract with French fourth-tier side Football Club 93 Bobigny had expired.

His impressive displays have earned him the opportunity to continue his development with the Spanish club.

Last season, Addai, 22, in what was his debut in Spanish football played 19 official matches for the club, accumulating 818 minutes and scoring 3 goals.
