Vincent Odotei Sowah, a board member of Hearts of Oak, has revealed that the club has identified the factors contributing to their poor performance in the previous Ghana Premier League season.
During an interview with Oyerepa FM, the politician and football administrator stated that the club will soon make an official announcement to inform the public and supporters about the reasons behind their near-relegation last season.
He emphasized the importance of understanding the exact factors that led to their struggles, stating, “If things are not going well, we should look at the exact reason why we were nearly relegated this season. We have found out what the reason is and very soon, we will tell you what the reason is,” Vincent Odoeti Sowah said.
In the previous season, Hearts of Oak underwent two managerial changes and faced difficulties in both the Ghana Premier League and the MTN FA Cup. Ultimately, they concluded the football season without winning any silverware.
Currently, the club is actively working to establish a solid foundation and ensure a successful campaign for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
