Ghana star Frank Acheampong is happy after being nominated for Player-Of-The-Week award in the Chinese Super League.
The former Black Stars attacker has been nominated for the Chinese Super League Player-Of-The-Week award following an explosive performance with a goal and two assists.
“I am glad to be nominated for the Player of the Week award (RD10). A very big thanks to my teammates & the fans for their immense support”, he Tweeted.
The former RSC Anderlecht man helped his team to overcome two goals to win 3-2 in their home home with three goals involvement.
Acheampong gave the hosts hope when he struck in the 74th minute mark with a fine finish to make it 2-1 with sixteen minutes left on the clock.
Two minutes later, he set up Yuan Zhang to net the equalizer for the home team to set up a grand style finish to the end of the frenetic encounter.
Four minutes away from the final whistle, Acheampong set up Yue Liu to score the winning goal for Shenzhen FC as they turned it around to win 3-2.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian forward has four goals and two assists in 10 matches this 2023 season in China.
