Ghanaian attacking-midfielder Moritz Broni Kwarteng was on target for FC Magdeburg in the German Bundesliga 2 on Saturday afternoon against promotion chasers Hamburg SV.
He lasted only the first 45 minutes of the match as he was taken off at the start of the second 45 minutes of the match with Jason Ceka taking over his place.
The Ghanaian attacker found the back of the net to break the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up two minutes after the half hour mark.
Hamburg, who are chasing promotion got back on level terms with Sonny Kittel scoring the equalizer on the 42nd minute of the match to restore parity before the break.
Baris Atik after 74 minutes and Tatsuya Ito on the 86th minute mark made it 3-1 to the home team before Ludovits Reis made it a respectable score line with Hamburg’s second to make it 3-2 at the end of the match to FC Magdeburg.
The 25-year-old Ghana attacker has 10 goals and two assists in 28 matches for FC Magdeburg this season in the German Bundesliga 2.
