Young Ghanaian Center-back Frank Amoabeng has joined Switzerland Challenge League side Neuchatel Xamax, the club has announced.
The young Ghanaian defender has joined the Swiss club from Italy Serie C Novara after making just one appearance this year.

Neuchâtel Xamax is pleased to announce the arrival of young full-back Frank Amoabeng. Aged 21, this left side – who can also play in the axis of defense – arrives from Novare, a militant club in the Italian Serie C. He followed almost all of his training there and contributed to the club’s rise in Serie C last season, playing 24 games. He was also capped with the Ghana U23 team twice in 2021. He will wear number 35.
The Ghanaian had come to try out for La Maladière just before the holidays, showing great physical and technical qualities. He also took part in the mini preparation course which took place on the Ticino side.
Frank’s first words: “ I felt good. I took several tests and it went well. Obviously, everything is new for me, I discover a new type of football so I still have to adapt. It will get better and better. I’m here to play, give my best and help the team. I am convinced that the team will do better this spring. I am also looking forward and above all to discovering our audience as soon as the recovery! »
