Turkish women’s football club Yüksekovaspor have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Anasthesia Achiaa ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The Ghanaian centre-back joins Yüksekovaspor as the club strengthens its squad ahead of the new campaign, with Achiaa expected to bring defensive stability, strength and experience to the team.
The move marks another important step in Achiaa’s career as she continues to build her profile outside Ghana and gain valuable experience in international women’s football.
Yüksekovaspor will hope the Ghanaian defender can quickly settle into the squad and play a key role in helping the club achieve its targets during the upcoming season.
Achiaa’s transfer also highlights the increasing number of Ghanaian female footballers making moves abroad, particularly into competitive leagues across Europe and beyond.
The defender will now focus on pre-season preparations as she begins her journey with Yüksekovaspor and aims to make a strong impact in Turkish women’s football.
