Ghanaian right-back Benson Annang has successfully finalized a transfer to Cyprus’ top-tier football club, Othellos Athienou Football Club, during the ongoing summer transfer window.
At 23 years old, Annang has committed to a one-year contract that will bind him to the club until 2024.
Following the conclusion of his five-year tenure with Slovakian team MSK Zilina, Annang has chosen to continue his career journey with FC Othellos Athienou. His time with MSK Zilina saw him accumulate 134 appearances, contributing five goals and 13 assists.
Bringing a wealth of experience to his new team, Annang is poised to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
Annang’s debut for the Ghana national team occurred during a friendly match against Qatar on October 12, 2020. Notably, he played the entire 90 minutes of the game. His footballing beginnings trace back to his time with the youth team of New Life Academy.
