Daniel Heber played a big role in FC Magdeburg’s 2-0 victory against Hansa Rostock in the Bundesliga 2 last Sunday.
The defender, who was born in Germany, scored his first goal of the season, which helped FC Magdeburg win the important match at the Ostseestadion.
Before the game, Hansa Rostock had won five times against FC Magdeburg, while FC Magdeburg had won four times, and they had drawn four times. Even though Hansa Rostock had the ball more, FC Magdeburg had more attempts to score.
Heber started the game and scored in the 40th minute with a header from a very short distance. The goal happened after a set piece, with Baris Atik passing the ball with a cross. Earlier, in the 18th minute, Luca Schuler scored the first goal for FC Magdeburg with a shot from the middle of the box.
With this win, FC Magdeburg aims to keep their winning streak in their next match against VfL Osnabrück.
