Stefan Leitl, the manager of Hannover 96, has claimed that Ghanaian defender Derrick Köhn is the top left-back in the German Bundesliga 2, and has the potential to succeed in the top-tier league.
The 24-year-old defender has been in excellent form this season, putting up impressive performances in the league. He scored a goal for Hannover 96 in their 3-0 triumph over Nuremberg over the weekend.
In a post-match interview, Leitl praised Köhn, stating that he is the best left-back in the league. “For me, Derrick is the best left-back in the league. He demonstrated that impressively today,” the manager said.
Köhn has scored five goals in the German Bundesliga 2 this season, and many clubs in the top-flight league are reportedly interested in signing him. However, he has affirmed his commitment to Hannover 96 for the rest of the season and is concentrating on giving his best for the team.
