Ghanaian young defender Derrick Kohn was on the score sheet for Hannover 96 in the German Bundesliga 2 on Saturday afternoon at home.
The defender scored the opening goal of the match in the highly competitive clash against FC Kaiserslautern as his team suffered home defeat.
Kohn broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up after 17 minutes of football played with a beautiful goal to send the home fans into wild jubilation.
His left-footed strike from the left side of the box went straight into the bottom left corner to make it 1-0.
Four minutes into the second half of the match, Julian Niehues grabbed the equalizer for the away team to restore parity with a little over 40 minutes left on the clock.
From there, Kaiserslautern took full advantage and control of the game with total domination which paid off after 66 minutes with Terrence Boyd getting the second goal to turn the game around for the visitors.
Deep into additional time period of the match, Phillip Hercher added the icing on the cake goal to secure a 3-1 comeback win over Hannover 96 away from home.
The 23-year-old played full throttle for his team as they suffered defeat despite being on target.
Kohn hhas found the back of the net net twice this season in the German Bundesliga 2 with four assists in 18 games.
