Ghanaian defender Devon Amoo-Mensah scored for Detroit City FC in their 2-1 victory against Miami FC in the USL Championship.
The United States of America-born Ghanaian defender played full throttle for his team as they won their game after a hard fight.
The hosts wasted no time after kickoff to take the lead through Michael Bryant heading goal just two minutes into the match, following a cornerkick and a play involving Brett Levis.
The Ghanaian added to the home team’s advantage when he found the back of the net to make it 2-0 following a free-kick which wasn’t well dealt with by Miami.
However, Detroit conceded a penalty in the 75th minute, allowing Miami to narrow the score to 2-1, with only 15 minutes remaining.In their next league match, Detroit FC will face Phoenix Rising FC.
The 27-year-old Ghana left-back has two goals to his name this season in the USL Championship.
