Ghanaian football star Thomas Partey is set to be a key part of Arsenal’s squad for the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League campaign.
Despite suffering an injury setback before the September international break, the midfielder is on the road to recovery and expected to return to action in the coming weeks.
While he might miss Arsenal’s first match in the UEFA Champions League, manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed his inclusion in the squad for the entire campaign. Partey, at 30 years old, is one of eight midfielders selected to represent Arsenal in this prestigious European club competition.
The other midfielders in the squad include captain Martin Odegaard, Mohammed Elneny, Jorginho, Declan Rice, and Kai Havertz.

Arsenal’s journey in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League begins with a Group B clash against PSV on September 20, and the match is scheduled to be held at the Emirates Stadium. This pivotal fixture falls between English Premier League encounters with Everton and Tottenham Hotspur, making it a challenging but exciting stretch for the Gunners.
