Experienced Ghanaian center-back, Jonathan Mensah, has finalized his transfer to New England Revolution in Major League Soccer.
The FIFA U20 World Cup winner inked a one-year contract, committing to New England for the 2024 season, with an option for a further year extension.
Having departed San Jose Earthquakes at the contract’s end, Mensah is set to reunite with former Columbus Crew manager Caleb Porter, now leading New England Revolution.
Porter, expressing his confidence in Mensah’s qualities, remarked, “Jonathan knows what it takes to win a championship and will bolster our center back depth and bring a positive presence to the locker room.”
With an MLS Cup triumph with Columbus Crew in 2020 and over a hundred appearances in the MLS regular season, Mensah brings a wealth of experience to his new team.
