Ghanaian central defender Kingsley Gyamfi is set to join Degerfors IF in the coming days on loan, degerforsif.se reports.
The 20-year-old Ghanaian belongs to Hammarby IF, but is visiting Degerfors IF to get acquainted with the club and train with the team. A loan deal is being discussed between the clubs.
Gyamfi joined Hammarby in 2022 from MSK Zilina Africa FC based in Ghana’s capital Accra. Since he came to Hammarby, it is primarily the club’s U19 team and HTFF in Ettan Norra that he has played with.
In 2023, Gyamfi played 27 out of 30 games in Ettan Norra. In January, he was promoted to Hammarby’s first team.
