Ghanaian defender Nana Kwame Boakye has officially joined FC Sheriff, marking his first professional contract after spending his entire youth career in Ghana.
The 20-time Moldovan champions have welcomed the young talent, expressing their excitement about his arrival.
Boakye, who has represented Ghana’s U-20 national team and made six appearances, has transferred from the Ghana National Football Academy.
He made his first substitute appearance on Thursday, July 11, in a Europa League qualifier match against FC Zira, but unfortunately, Sheriff suffered a 1-0 loss.
The 20-year-old is expected to further develop his skills with FC Sheriff and contribute to the team’s success in the league. The club and its fans are eagerly anticipating his impact on the field.
