Moro was instrumental in Degerfors’ commanding 4-1 victory over Örgryte in their Saturday afternoon clash.
Before this match, the head-to-head record favored Örgryte with 7 wins, compared to Degerfors’ 5 wins and 3 draws. Despite this, Degerfors dominated, registering more shots on goal than their rivals.
Moro played the entire match, contributing significantly on both ends of the pitch. Gustav Lindgren opened the scoring for Degerfors in the 10th minute. Örgryte’s Esi Sylisufaj equalized early in the second half, netting in the 48th minute. However, Moro quickly reclaimed the lead for Degerfors with a goal in the 52nd minute, his first of the 2024 season.
Degerfors maintained their momentum, with substitute Dijan Vukojevic sealing the win with goals in the 79th and 90th+4 minutes.
Looking ahead, Degerfors will face IK Brage in their next league match on May 23rd, aiming to build on their impressive form with Moro continuing to play a key role.
