Ghanaian international Nicholas Opoku has officially finalized his transfer to Turkish side Kasimpasa SK.

The 27-year-old defender signed his contract on Monday at the Turgay Ciner Sports Facilities, following a successful medical examination at Liv Hospital Vadi İstanbul.

Opoku joins Kasimpasa SK after leaving French Ligue 2 club Amiens SC, where he made 23 appearances during the 2023–24 season. His contract with Amiens SC expired at the end of the season, marking the conclusion of his three-year stint with the French club. Over this period, Opoku made a total of 102 appearances in all competitions.

Prior to his time at Amiens, Opoku had a notable career, starting with Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea before moving to Club Africain in Tunisia. He then joined Udinese Calcio in July 2018 before his transfer to Amiens.

The 27-year-old has also earned 18 caps for the Ghana national team, showcasing his defensive prowess on the international stage.
