Ghanaian defender Terry Yegbe was in top form as FK Elfsborg came from behind to claim a thrilling 5-3 victory over Hacken in the Swedish Allsvenskan League.
Yegbe’s impressive performance earned him an 8.3 rating from sports website Sofascore, playing a key role in the match at Bravida Arena.
The visitors trailed 2-1 at halftime after Gustafson Simon and Valgeir Fridriksson gave Hacken an early lead, but Yegbe’s equalizer just three minutes into the second half set the tone for a thrilling comeback.
He then completed his brace with a header, leveling the score once again before Arber Zeneli sealed the victory for Elfsborg in injury time.
Yegbe’s two goals in eight appearances for Elfsborg have been a welcome boost for the team, who now sit 5th in the league table with 22 points after 15 games.
The 23-year-old defender joined Elfsborg in January from SJK Seinajoki in Finland and has quickly established himself as a key player for the Yellow and Blacks.
