Ghana Goalkeeper Razak Abalora and defender Patrick Kpozo have clinched the Moldovan elite league title with Sheriff Tiraspol.
The Ghanaian internationals played an instrumental role as Sheriff won the club’s 21st league title.
The two players were all in action as Sheriff Tiraspol walloped Milsami 4-0 to be crowned champions of Moldova for the 2022/23 season.
Moroccan forward Mohammed Amine Talal opened the scoring for Sheriff after 20 minutes before Mouhamed Diop doubled the lead 11 minutes later.
Abdoul Fessal Tapsoba extended the lead at the stroke of half time before Bubacarr Tambedou sealed victory after the break.
Sheriff Tiraspol will represent Moldova in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Now Abalorah and Kpozo could win the double when they take on CSF Salmi in the Moldovan Cup final.
