Ghanaian forward Asumah Abubakar-Ankrah scored a brace for FC Luzern in their impressive 2-1 away at FC Lausanne in the Swiss Super League on Sunday afternoon.
The former SC Kriens man opened the scoring in the first half after just two minutes with a low drive into the bottom right corner following a through pass right from Kickoff to give the away team the lead.
Eighteen minutes to the end of the match, Abubakar-Ankrah tapped home the second goal from a very close range with a typical Center-forwards goal to give his team a crucial 2-0 lead.
The home team reduced the deficit to one 12 minutes into the additional time period from the spot to make the final score 2-1.
The 24-year-old versatile forward has scored six goals in 22 matches this season in the Switzerland Super League.
