Ghanaian attacker, Bernard Tekpetey suffered relegation from the 2023-24 UEFA Champions League competition on Tuesday evening.
The Ghanaian international played 55 minutes for the Green and Whites Eagles as they were kicked out of the competition by Slovenia side Olimpija Ljubljana.
The Bulgarian First Professional League giant scored first through Kiril Despodov in the 15th minute mark of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up.
Three minutes later, the home team equalized through Timi Elsnik to restore parity few minutes after the Green and Whites outfit went a goal down.
Elsnik scored a later winner to eliminate Tekpetey and his club PFC Ludogorets Razgrad 1945 from the UEFA Champions League, denying them a place in the playoffs.
