Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey came off the bench to inspire Ajax Amsterdam to a 3-1 comeback win over RKC Waalwijk.
The Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker was a second half substitute for the Red and Whites outfit as they beat their opponents after going down by a goal at half time.
The visitors struck first on the 17th minute mark through Mats Seuntjens with a nice goal to make it 1-0 to the away team.
Brian Brobbey was introduced to the game at the start of the second half of the match and took him just five minutes to level matters for the home team with a brilliant strike to make it 1-1 after 50 minutes.
Brobbey’s goal inspired the Red and Whites outfit backed by their home fans at the Johan Cruyff Arena to came back and win the game comfortably.
Jurrien Timber scored the second goal for the home team to make it 2-1 on the 78th minute mark.
Three minutes later, Kudus Mohammed scored the icing on the cake goal for the home team to ensure a 3-1 home win over the away team before he was subbed off a minute into the the additional time period.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker, Brobbey has featured in 20 Dutch Eredivisie games this season for Ajax and has 11 goals and two assists in the 2022-23 to his name.
