Ghanaian forward Deabeas Owusu Sekyere scores winner for Cangzhou at Nantong Zhiyun in Chinese Super League

Ghanaian forward Deabeas Nii Klu Owusu-Sekyere powered Cangzhou Mighty Lions to a slim win over Nantong Zhiyun FC on the road on Saturday night.

The Dutch-born Ghanaian striker played full throttle for his team as they beat the home team 2-1 away from home in the Chinese Super League.

He broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up halfway through the opening 45 minutes of the match with a 22nd minute strike to give the away team something to protect

Just before halftime, Romario Balde grabbed the equalizer for the home team to make it 1-1.

The visitors restored their lead deep inside the additional time period of the match through Jurgen Locadia as it ended 2-1 to Mighty Lions.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian forward has six goals and two assists in 19 games this season for the Blue and Whites outfit in the Chinese top-flight.
