Ghana attacker Emmanuel Gyasi Quartsin was on target for Empoli FC on Monday night in the Italy Serie A against ACF Fiorentina away from home.
The Ghana attacker came on as a second half substitute for the Blue and Whites outfit as they beat the Violas 2-0 on the night to move out to the drop zone.
Halfway through the opening 45 minutes of the match, Francesco Caputa broke the deadlock of the match to put the visitors 1-0 up with a beautiful strike inside the 21st minute mark of the match.
Just before the half time whistle was blown, Caputa thought he had scored his brace but only for the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) to disallow the goal.
Gyasi was introduced in the second half of the match as he came on to take the place of Matteo Cancellieri after 78 minutes of the match.
Three minutes later, the Ghana International was on target as he found the back of the net for the first time this season in the Italy top-flight for his club in their 2-0 victory.
