The Ghanaian winger suffered yet another injury setback over the weekend when his team played against KV Mechelen.
After nearly an hour of play, Amuzu felt a sharp pain in his thigh, forcing him to leave the match early.
This comes after a previous season plagued by a pubalgia injury and a recent ankle injury during preseason.
Despite these setbacks, Amuzu managed to score earlier in the match and made his first start after coming on as a substitute last week.
Amuzu played a key role in Anderlecht’s 3-1 win over Mechelen on matchday four of the Belgian Pro League.
Amuzu found the back of the net for the first time this season, giving Anderlecht a 2-1 lead after Lion Lauberbach had initially put Mechelen ahead.
Ludwig Augustinsson leveled the score for Anderlecht before Amuzu’s second goal shifted the momentum firmly in their favor. Théo Leoni later added another goal to ensure the win.
