Spanish top-flight side Girona FC have made a shrewd move by securing the signing of Dutch-born Ghanaian youngster Gabriel Misehouy on a four-year deal.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder has joined the La Liga outfit as a free agent and is expected to continue his development with the club until summer 2028.
Misehouy, who can play as an attacking midfielder, midfielder, inside, or winger, has already made a name for himself with his impressive dribbling skills, ability to navigate small spaces, and goal-scoring ability.
The versatile player made his professional debut at 17 with Ajax’s second team and has represented the Netherlands at the U16, U17, and U18 levels.
Despite playing for the Dutch youth teams, Misehouy is still eligible to represent Ghana at the international level. He was prolific last season, scoring 7 goals and providing 3 assists in 13 games for Jong Ajax in the Dutch second division.
With his talent and potential, Misehouy is tipped to achieve great things in his career. Girona fans will be excited to see him in action and hoping that he can make a significant impact for the club.
