In the Belgium Jupiler Pro League match on Sunday, Kelvin Yeboah, a player from Ghana and Italy, scored a goal for Standard Liege against OH Leuven.
Despite Yeboah’s goal, Standard Liege lost 3-1 at the King Power at Den Dreef Stadion. However, Yeboah, who is 23 years old, played the entire game and performed really well.
Yeboah’s goal came in the 43rd minute, giving his team the lead as they went into halftime feeling hopeful.
But at the start of the second half, OH Leuven quickly equalized with Youssef Maziz scoring just one minute after the break.
After that, OH Leuven managed to score two more goals, securing a solid win and taking home all three points.
Nachon Nsingi scored OH Leuven’s second goal in the 74th minute, followed by Jon Thorsteinsson who sealed the victory for the home team.
Kelvin Yeboah moved to Standard Liege on loan from Genoa during the January transfer window.
Since joining Standard Liege, Yeboah has played in 12 games, scoring four goals and providing one assist during that time.
