Ghanaian forward Kingsley Asante Ofori was adjudged best player of the season during SJK Akatemia Captain’s Ball gala award ceremony on Thursday in Helsinki, Finland.
Ofori had an outstanding six months spell with SJK Akatemia and scored 15 goals in 21matchs in the Finnish Kokkone league.
The Ghanaian youngster was the top scorer for his side and the joint highest scorer in the league.
The EurAfrica product emerged as the winner after recording the highest number of votes cast from his teammates. He was also chosen as the best striker in the team.
The 19-year-old will spend an additional year with the SJK Akatemia who are in awe of his talent and are keen to keep him beyond the year.
