Ghanaian forward Kwaku Osei Bonsu found the back of the net for FK Spartak Subotica in their 2-1 home defeat to FK Javor Ivanjica on matchday 29 of the Serbian SuperLiga.
Bonsu put the hosts ahead shortly after the restart, calmly finishing a well-worked team move in the 47th minute to give Spartak a deserved lead.
However, the advantage proved short-lived as Javor Ivanjica equalised from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute before grabbing a late winner to complete the comeback.
Despite the disappointing result, Bonsu delivered a standout individual performance. The 25-year-old remains a key figure in Spartak’s fight to avoid relegation, contributing four goals and four assists in 24 league appearances this season.
His consistent displays have made him one of the club’s most reliable performers, playing a vital role as they battle to maintain their top-flight status during the relegation play-offs.
With his form continuing to rise, Bonsu could soon attract interest from clubs both within Serbia and across Europe.
