Kwame Poku grabbed three goal involvements for Peterborough United in their league encounter against Cambridge on Saturday.
The 22-year-old scored two goals and assisted on another in the English League One match at home.
Poku returned to the game after scoring against Wigan Athletic in midweek, assisting Ephron Mason-Clarke for the game’s first goal after 34 minutes.
Mason-Clarke doubled the lead minutes later.
Poku increased the lead to three with a superb left-foot strike after cutting in the final third of the pitch, his fifth league goal of the season.
After returning from the break, the one-time capped winger scored his second goal of the game in the 54th minute, tapping in a square feed from Joel Randall.
Poku was replaced in the 84th minute by David Ajiboye.
The 22-year-old has now scored six goals in the league this season in 16 appearances.
