Osman Bukari, the Ghanaian footballer, has been awarded the Player of the Week title in the top-flight of Serbia.
This accolade was bestowed upon him after he scored a hat-trick last Saturday while playing for Red Star Belgrade, in a match where they defeated Topola 4-1, resulting in their 34th league title win.
The Black Stars winger’s outstanding performance during the game earned him the Man of the Match award.
As a result of his impressive form, Bukari is now ranked fifth in the league’s top scorers’ list, with 11 goals in 25 matches for the club.
This puts him behind his teammate, Aleksandar Katai, and players from Patizan and Novi Pazar.
It is worth mentioning that the 24-year-old has been in phenomenal form ever since he joined the Serbian giants in the summer transfer window, and this hat-trick was his second for the club.
