Ghanaian forward Richmond Tachie have signed for Germany Bundesliga 2 side FC Kaiserslautern from SC Paderborn, the club has announced.
He played for Tennis Borussia Berlin before moving to the youth academy of Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg after excelling at the club.
Tachie also played for Viktoria Köln where he excelled in the Germany Bundesliga 3 with the club and left the team after a successful spell.
He was later signed by Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and played for the reserve side as he won the regional league championship and promotion to the 3rd division and established himself as a top player.
In two seasons in the Regionalliga West and in the 3rd division, the striker appeared in a total of 73 league games for BVB scoring 17 goals and providing 18 assists.
This was followed by the move to SC Paderborn. He made 17 appearances for East Westphalia in the second division and twice in the DFB Cup.
The 24-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Red Devils ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
