Ghanaian forward Richmond Tachie is on cloud nine after moving to Germany Bundesliga 2 side FC Kaiserslautern from SC Paderborn this summer.
The former Borussia Dortmund II player is happy to sign up for the Red Devils ahead of the 2023-24 campaign after leaving SC Paderborn.
“1. FC Kaiserslautern is an unbelievable club with really great fans. I’ve already played twice on the Betze and I’m already looking forward to playing as the Red Devil from now on.”
“My goal is to help the team and have a successful season,” said Richmond Tachie about his move.
In two seasons in the Regionalliga West and in the 3rd division, the striker appeared in a total of 73 league games for BVB scoring 17 goals and providing 18 assists.
This was followed by the move to SC Paderborn. He made 17 appearances for East Westphalia in the second division and twice in the DFB Cup.
The 24-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Red Devils ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
