Swedish Damallsvenskan club Piteå IF have officially announced the signing of Ghanaian forward Sharon Esinam Sampson, bringing on board a player with impressive international experience.
Sampson joins Piteå on a two-year contract following a standout season with Mallbacken in 2024, where she featured in 26 matches and netted four goals.
Her career journey has been remarkable, with stints at Greek Champions League side PAOK, as well as experience in the competitive U.S. soccer system. She has also played for Swedish clubs Hammarby IF and Telge United, further refining her skills.
On the international stage, Sampson represented Ghana in the U20 Women’s World Cup, cementing her reputation as a rising star in women’s football.
