Ghanaian winger, Sirlord Conteh, has sealed his transfer from SC Paderborn 07 to FC Heidenheim, marking a significant milestone for both the player and the German club.
The Ostalb region-based team officially welcomed Conteh as their latest addition on Monday, confirming the winger’s acquisition.
Hailing from Hamburg, Conteh’s journey began in the youth ranks of SC Concordia Hamburg and U17 before venturing to Vorwärts-Wacker Billstedt. He then honed his skills at VfB Lübeck’s U19 team and TSV Sasel, before making his mark with FC St. Pauli’s second squad from 2015 to 2019. Following a stint at 1. FC Magdeburg, the 27-year-old now embarks on a new chapter with FC Heidenheim.
Manager Robert Strauß expressed his enthusiasm for Conteh’s arrival, praising his exceptional speed and anticipating how his style of play will complement the team’s tactics.
Signing a contract until 2027, Conteh reiterated his eagerness to tackle the fresh challenge awaiting him at Heidenheim.
