Ghanaian-German midfielder Braydon Manu has parted ways with PEC Zwolle with immediate effect, the Dutch club confirmed through its official channels.
PEC Zwolle’s technical director Gerry Hiemstra explained that the decision was made to support the 28-year-old as he searches for a new club, allowing Manu the time and space to find the right opportunity.
“We felt this was the best way to support Braydon, giving him the chance to calmly explore options elsewhere,” Hiemstra said.
Manu’s contract with PEC Zwolle was initially set to run until summer 2026, but he is no longer on the club’s payroll following the mutual agreement.
The midfielder, who has yet to make a senior appearance for Ghana, is currently valued at approximately €300,000 on Transfermarkt. Known for his versatility in midfield and experience in European leagues, Manu will now be looking to restart his career and secure regular playing time elsewhere.
With the 2026 World Cup approaching, a strong run at a new club could also increase his chances of finally breaking into the Black Stars senior squad, adding another layer of intrigue to his next career move.
