Ghanaian goalkeeper Emmanuel Ogura has secured a loan move to Danish second-tier side Hellerup IK (HIK).
The talented shot-stopper, who is a product of the Right to Dream Academy, joins HIK on a season-long loan deal from FC Nordsjaelland. This transfer was completed on the deadline day.
The move presents an excellent opportunity for the young goalkeeper to gain valuable experience and further advance his career.
Emmanuel Ogura expressed his enthusiasm for the loan spell, stating, “In order for me to develop as much as possible, it is important to get playing time – especially when you are a goalkeeper. I know HIK from my loan in the spring, and I am looking forward to the chance to come back here in the autumn and get some match minutes in my legs and gloves,” said Ogura.
Ogura initially joined FC Nordsjaelland in 2020, where he primarily featured for the U20 squad.
Last season, he embarked on a loan spell with Hellerup, and he is set to return for another season with the club as he continues his development journey.
