Ghanaian goalkeeper Emmanuel Ogura experienced an unfortunate moment as his team, Hellerup IK, suffered a defeat in the Danish Cup.

The 21-year-old, a graduate of the Right to Dream Academy, inadvertently scored an own goal, contributing to Brøndby’s commanding 3-0 victory over Hellerup IK.

This match marked Ogura’s debut for Hellerup IK after he returned to the club on loan from Nordsjaelland. He had previously played for Hellerup IK during the previous season and had made several appearances after joining the team in the winter transfer window.

The scoring for Brøndby commenced with Yuito Suzuki finding the back of the net 22 minutes into the game, giving the visitors an early lead.

Oscar Schwartau then doubled Brøndby’s advantage, scoring three minutes after the opening goal, and the team entered halftime with a comfortable two-goal lead courtesy of Suzuki and Schwartau.

To cap off their victory, an unfortunate own goal was credited to Ghanaian goalkeeper Emmanuel Ogura, sealing Brøndby’s 3-0 triumph in the third round of the Danish Cup.
