Talented Ghanaian defender Masahudu Alhassan is hoping for a return to the Black Stars after a decade.
The enterprising left-back was one of the best players in the Ghana team during the 2012 AFCON in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea and he is looking forward to get the chance to impress again.
The 28-year-old joined Egyptian giants ENPPI and he is eyeing a return to the team as Ghana seek a cover up for Baba Rahman with Gideon Mensah failing to impress so far.
“For me, Ghana has a new coach and I think every player wants to wear the national team jersey. I think it is an opportunity for every player to work hard so I will work hard in order to impress the coach because the coach doesn’t no anybody.” Alhassan told sportsworldghana.com
“It is your hard work which will make the coach invite you. I think Serbian coaches have the same tactics and I was invited for the first time into the Black Stars by Serbia coach (Goran Stevanovic). I think I know how to play with them.” Alhassan added.
Masahudu is already bracing himself for his debut in the Egyptian league which is expected to come in the coming days.
