English club Hednesford Town, have announced the signings of Jez Abbey from Southern Premier Central side Redditch United.
The 20-year old attacking midfielder arrives at Keys Park having began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers before moving to AFC Telford United where he had loans at Barwell, Rushall Olympic and Shifnal Town.
The promising attacking midfielder arrived at Redditch during the summer, however Danny Glover moved to bring in the midfielder last week.
Abbey joins the club with fellow midfielder Morley.
Manager Glover said “We felt we wanted some more options in midfield and we are delighted to bring in Jez and Joe, both are young but have been around Step 3 and 4 for a few years now and we are really excited to have them join us and both are available for selection for saturdays game with Walsall Wood”.
Abbey was born in Den Haag – Netherlands to Ghanaian parents.
