Mr. George Afriyie has been disqualified from the Ghana Football Association presidential elections.
A statement from the vetting committee confirming this news reads as follows;
“Dear George Kwasi Afriyie, Following the vetting process held on 21st August 2023 and after careful consideration, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Elections Committee (the“Committee”) regrets to inform you that your application to contest for the position of President of the GFA was unsuccessful.”
