Ghanaian enforcer Abdul Salis Samed says it was a difficult season in the French Ligue 1 with Clermont Foot as they escaped relegation.
The Ghanaian midfielder made 31 appearances scoring one goal in the French topflight and he has lauded the fans and his team mates for their support.
“What a tough season it has been.I would like to thank all supporters/fans of #Clermontfoot for having our back from the first game of the season till now. Most importantly would like to thank my teammates for the great efforts they made throughout the season.” Salis tweeted.
Salis 22, played on loan with Clermont Foot for two seasons before signing a permanent deal from AMG Abidjan in 2021.
