Ghanaian midfielder Clifford Aboagye has signed with Libyan club Almoroj Sports Club during the current transfer window.
The former Ghana youth star joins Almoroj on a free transfer after his contract with Mexican side Querétaro expired.
Aboagye, who won the Bronze Ball at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, brings significant experience to his new team. He began his professional career with Inter Allies in Ghana before moving abroad, where he spent several seasons with Granada in Spain, primarily playing for their B team in the Segunda División B.
In 2017, Aboagye made the switch to Mexico, joining Atlas, and later played for Tijuana and Puebla, demonstrating his versatility and skill across different leagues.
Now at Almoroj SC, Aboagye is expected to be a key player as the Libyan club aims to make a significant impact this season.
Drawing from his successful stint with Ghana’s U-20 team, where he played a pivotal role in their third-place finish at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Aboagye’s international experience will be crucial as he looks to lead Almoroj SC to new heights.
